Kim Kardashian's TikTok Decision: Kanye Proven Right

Allowing North West access to TikTok has generated significant attention and scrutiny. Nevertheless, Kim Kardashian has consistently defended her stance, emphasizing her support for her daughter's creative expression. In an interview with TIME, she stated, "She enjoys creating slime videos and sharing her hair tutorials, and I will always encourage her creativity."

While Kim supports North's creative endeavors, she does exercise vigilance in monitoring her daughter's social media activity. At one point, Kim deleted a TikTok video that North had posted. In the video, the 10-year-old dressed up as the rapper Ice Spice and lip-synced to the lyrics of the song "Boy's a Liar, Pt. 2" by PinkPantheress. The explicit nature of the lyrics drew the attention of online users.

Kim addressed the incident during her TIME Magazine interview, explaining her rationale for removing the video. "As soon as I saw the lyrics, I realized it was inappropriate, and I immediately took it down," she said. She also acknowledged the online comments suggesting Kanye was right about the situation.

Kanye West has been vocal about disapproving of his children's involvement on TikTok without his permission. In an interview with Hollywood Unlocked, he firmly stated, "My children will not be on TikTok without my consent." Despite his initial objections, Kanye has reluctantly reached certain agreements with Kim regarding their daughter's use of the platform.
